Dorothea was a Potts so it would be an impossibility that she would miss this event, one of the beautiful highlights of the Hogsmeade calendar when the other side of the family showed the town what they were made of. For her part, Dorothea was out in the prettiest summer dress she had and was delivering lemonade to her cousins to keep them cool in the sun.

She loved it, except when she didn't. Shamefully for a Potts she suffered from hay fever, quite severely at times. There was very little wind today so nothing to blow all the pollen away. She wished she could smell all the beautiful flowers but within minutes of arriving her nose was already blocked and she couldn't smell a thing.

At least the potion she had been given was preventing her eyes from turning red and making her look like she was in floods of tears, but oh how she hated dropping it in her eyes.

"aachoooo!"

She sneezed abruptly, catching her hand to her face to prevent disgrace but in the same movement splashing drops of lemonade onto the back of a gentleman's neck.

"Oh my word sir, I'm sorry... that's not..." she quickly flustered out.
