There’s a competition brewing in Hogsmeade! The Potion Brewing Competition will take place at Hogsmeade Hall on Saturday, January 25th. This is sponsored by London Potioneers Guild, with various professionals having been tapped to serve as judges.
Those unfamiliar with how PBCs work can check out this thread for an example! To sign up, simply complete the form below. All participants must be 17+ and not currently enrolled at Hogwarts.
There will be three levels in this particular competition:
- Ladies: Genteel potions for the society set. A great way for debutantes to show off their skill to potential husbands, for socialites to one-up each other, and for the less leisurely ladies of wizarding Britain to bring home literal gold (which doesn't have the worst resale value). Prize: A small, gold cauldron that can fit on the palm of one's hand.
- Hobbyist: Targeted to those who have not made potions their literal buisness. Practical brews, though still requiring some skill! Prize: A new cauldron and set of scales, plus three galleons
- Professional: For those who brew potions as often as a servant brews tea. While those who aren't Super Extra about potions can enter, they'll find themselves at a substantial disadvantage. Prize: five galleons, a trophy, and the ability to lord it over your peers.
The winner in each bracket will get to take home the Uncontested stamp. All participants will earn the Potion Brewing stamp!
