My darling,

Now that your arrival is imminent, I've decided to keep a journal for you, my sweet Emery—to capture our days together, the quiet moments and the cherished ones, so that one day, you may look back and see how deeply you were loved. Our days may not always be grand or full of adventure, but there is beauty in the ordinary. Not every day needs to be extraordinary to be worth remembering.

I love you now and I will love you forever.
