"Indeed, how do you think I feel, knowing my little Susie will be walking the castle halls soon?" She glanced in the vague direction of the castle, though it was unseen through the walls of Denbright's, and sighed. "Sometimes I miss those days myself." Lucy was always thankful she seemed to have followed in her own mother's footsteps, though it certainly wasn't for lack of trying. She and Roger hadn't really seemed to lose their spark yet, and Lucy was honestly grateful for that. If anything, Lucy was honestly due for another arrival anytime now, but there hadn't been any indications yet. She knew Roger wanted a larger family than either of them had had growing up, though honestly, Lucy wasn't sure how they would support that unless Roger got a promotion.
Lucy sighed slightly, nodding. "I do relish the time with Lois, as I have with each of mine when I've had it. Eli was the hardest to have one-on-one time with, though. Lois arrived just before Susie started at the schoolhouse." Her smile returned. "It seems we haven't been noticed still. Perhaps I'll just pick one and have done with it."
