Emmeline had sincerely hoped that they would have been able to get away with it. That her parents wouldn't have seen Charlie kissing her in the kitchen. Unfortunately, luck was clearly not with her. And if looks could kill, they'd likely be dead from the way her father was looking at them. Or at her at least. Her mother, on the other hand, looked positively giddy. Shit.

"Yes!" she exclaimed quickly, "After all, there's plenty of adventures to be told from Hogwarts.."
