Giving Zinnia a grateful smile, Dahlia leaned ever so slightly into her older sister's orbit. Everything was going to be alright, she tried to assure herself. Any reassurance was immediately gone though, or perhaps not gone. Lodged in a leap from her stomach to her throat as she noticed Quincey across the room. His eyes locked on her and he waved. An answering smile was on her lips immediately.

Dahlia almost didn't hear Zinnia make some excuse up and leave her side but then she was alone watching Mr. Honeyduke come her way a mixture of excitement and a sudden onslaught of shyness rolling through her. Her whole body felt as if it was tingling.

"Merry Christmas." Dahlia greeted him when he joined her.
