Mrs. Lowri Dempsey,

I am a young woman who would like to become a published poet, and am hoping that an esteemed poet such as yourself would have advice. Do you?

A young poet! Oh how I do love to lend my knowledge and influence to the young minds of today. Pray, what is your main focus of study?

Mrs. Lowri Dempsey,

I particularly like poems about nature or the odd ones; I think my most favorite is "Goblin Market" by Rosetti, even though goblins are real and not actually like that. I think it's funny. I also like Matthew Arnold's "Dover Beach", because I very much like the beach.

Oh both are excellent choices. Very well, I shall bestow upon you what I always tell my daughters. The publishing world can be a nasty business, especially to us women. You must tread carefully and keep your wits about you if you should like to succeed.
