Welcome to Charming, where swirling petticoats, the language of flowers, and old-fashioned duels are only the beginning of what is lying underneath…
After a magical attempt on her life in 1877, Queen Victoria launched a crusade against magic that, while tidied up by the Ministry of Magic, saw the Wizarding community exiled to Hogsmeade, previously little more than a crossroad near the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In the years that have passed since, Hogsmeade has suffered plagues, fires, and Victorian hypocrisy but is still standing firm.

The potion shifted to its intended shade of blue, and Elijah knew his work was done. From an appearance perspective, at the very least, he had achieved the colour and consistency necessary for an everlasting elixir, but only time (and professor Valenduris) would tell if it was wholly successful.

'Excellent job everyone' Meserimus clapped and did his final tour of the potions to assess the various attempts by his students. He nodded thought fully for each one. In the end, no one had done terribly. The mediocre potions had been salvaged, and would all the examiners muster for the year end exams he was sure of that.
Miss Slughorn had done exceptionally well, he wasn't sure she was going to be able to pull that one back, but indeed she had. Meserimus was truly impressed. Miss Fraser had also done well but that didn't surprise him anymore. He vanished the remains of the potions. 'Well done everyone,' he commended and dismissed the class for a well deserved lunchbreak.
