"No?" She asked with an amused grin. Fisk and she floated within the same friend group, and the poor sot was always mooning over Malou. "I'm surprised we never mentioned him. Fisk and I go way back." Back when she was a second year obsessed with the readily available quidditch matches.

They walked around a large group of peopl, Fallon nodding politely as they did. "We were friendly in school. I think he would've married Malou when we were twelve if he could've."

  

Jess hummed out a nonchalant response. He supposed he wasn't surprised, they were about the same age and there was the love of quidditch. Funny how Jess didn't remember much about either of them from school, but then again, he'd been a bit of an ass in school, so there was that.

Draining his cocoa, he vanished the mug easily enough. "That would be an interesting match." Not that he knew Miss Skovgaard particularly well, but she did not seem like Fisk's usual type.

"Was there anything else of interest here tonight?" He asked, looking around the crowded festival to see if anything caught his eye as well.

Fallon hummed. Malou could do better than the likes of Fisk, but she wouldn't stand in her friend's way if that's the direction they chose. After the whole ordeal with Lachlan and Jesse, Fallon long since lost the right to be outright against anyone Malou chose to involve herself with.

"Well, there is something of interest," she said lowly. "I don't think we ought to try it in the middle of High Street, though." Fallon took a long drink of her cocoa to hide any hint of a blush at her own suggestion.

  

Jess laughed audibly at her suggestion. "That would definitely cause a stir." Still, he was completely at ease with the insinuation, it was how their nights went almost more often than not. It was a miracle they hadn't ended up with any long term consequences yet. He really should get on that more permanent situation.

"Shall I let you get home then, Miss Abernathy?" He quirked a teasing eyebrow at her before leaning in to whisper in her ear, "Or would you rather meet at mine?" Jess was pretty sure Kirke was still out and about with his own sweet miss, so that was a bonus, but not a requisite either. Soundproofing charms existed for a reason. Especially with Fallon around.
