Appearance:

An identical twin, Fitz is average in height, standing at five feet, eight inches. Years as a beater, however, have left him quite muscular and broader-shouldered. He managed to escape the (unfortunate, in his opinion) red hair of much of his family, instead leaving his head (and occasionally face) topped with a light brown instead. It is kept close-cropped. His light grey eyes are of little note. Fitz has always favoured muggle styles after an unfortunate incident in his third year that cost him a testicle. He is right-handed.

History:

Let's Get This Bludger Flying

1860 | Though only minutes separate him from his twin Felix, Fitzroy is born the second son to Gideon and Harriet Prewett.

1861 | Florence is born. If Fitz had been more than a year old, he might have cared. Faustus leaves for Hogwarts.

1863 | Little Felicity is born. Fitz is far too grown up to care about silly things like babies.

1864 | While sneaking about the house in the middle of the night, Fitzroy drops his candle on the floor, causing it to go out. Not entirely keen on the dark, the lad manages to relight it—his first act of magic! Frederick is born a month later.

1867 | Frances leaves for Hogwarts.

1868 | Fitzroy’s father is killed as a dark wizard by a group of aurors. He begins to resent his father for doing anything that caused him to leave them. After this, Faustus graduates and becomes an auror; Fitz has mixed feelings on the matter.

Welcome to Hogwarts

1871 | The twins depart for Hogwarts, and are both sorted into Slytherin. Fitz has little trouble making friends amidst his peers, and is rather put out when Felix struggles to do the same.

1872 | His second year sees Fitz join the quidditch team as a beater. He takes to it like a fish to water.

1873 | He begins his third year, picking up Care of Magical Creatures as his lone elective. Florence joins the twins at Hogwarts.

1874 | In the spring, his COMC class studies garden gnomes. One of them proves to be quite the little fucker, and scurries under Fitz’s robes to bite off his right testicle. Understandably, Fitzroy develops a dislike of robes and a mild fear of garden gnomes that he holds to this day. Frances graduates. Felicity begins at Hogwarts in September, a Hufflepuff.

1875 | Faustus marries Miss Jane Pettigrew. Frederick begins his schooling.

1876 | Fitz sits his OWLs, and does…acceptably. He would have left school if he had thought his mother would let him get away with it.
1877 | Fitzroy is elated to be named quidditch captain for his final year of schooling. Faustus becomes a father for the first time—to a set of twins! Fiona begins her schooling.

1878 | Fitz sits his NEWTs, does terribly because he does not care, finishes his Hogwarts career, and earns a second string position with Puddlemere United.

Adulting is Terrible (But Fun)

1879 | A nasty bout of influenza puts one of the first stringers off for a month, allowing Fitz to play his first professional game in April—which they win!

1880 | Fitzroy is promoted to first string. With the increase in salary, he elects to take up rooms at Black’s to escape his mother’s obnoxious (but well-meaning) eye.

1881 | Florence marries the muggleborn Cory Greene. Fitz is not at all pleased with her choice of husband, but is pleased to see her happy. Felicity graduates and, curiously, finds work as a healer.

1882 | She was beautiful and she was an heiress—complimented by a sensational dowry. Fitzroy scarcely gives marriage to Liliana Carrow a moment of thought before it’s over and done with in December. Her father provides the two with a modest house in London. Felicity marries in October. Frederick graduates.

1883 | It seems that his missing testicle is not going to cause any problems: in late January, Liliana reveals that she is pregnant! This, however, is short lived: a miscarriage in February causes her to lose her own life, as well as that of their unborn child. Though he did not love her properly, Fitzroy is still quite shaken by the loss, and so does not try out for the national quidditch team. In June, Florence delivers her first child. Felicity delivers her first child in July, but madness takes her and she tries to kill him. She is placed in asylum, and Fitz credits his twin with keeping the scandal out of the papers—and so maintaining all of their reputations.

1884 | In the new year, Fitzroy is offered—and accepts—the position of Captain for the Chudley Cannons. He almost loses this new post after an illegal game of Creothceann lands him, Freddie, and Art Pettigrew in prison, but the trio are released after a fortnight without

1886 | The thousendth (Fitz always has been one to exaggerate) bludger to hit him in the head knocks him out of the game for the remainder of the season. Though loath to leave the sport he loves, an offer to run the quidditch league comes at precisely the right moment, and Fitz accepts.


1890 | An incident over the Christmas season takes the Head of the Department of Magical Games and Sports out of office, and by sheer luck (and ample schmoozing), Fitz is able to beat out the assistant head for the job. This makes for an awkward workplace dynamic.
