November 1, 1895 — All Saints Day Harvest Celebration; Comedy Play
Lear had been more or less coerced into attending the Festival. He had not regretted it in the end but the time had come for the play he had been informed about. A couple of local actors hopeful for a slot in his next production had requested he come see how they performed. Lear had decided to hear them out, not having the heard to just decline harshly. Besides, he was always on the lookout for new talent anyway.
It certainly helped that one of the actors was exactly his type.
And so, there he sat, watching a comedic play. He was mainly paying attention to the actual acting more than the content of the play itself. Not bad. A little stiff now and then but that could be nerves.
