Charmers, it's time to join the Order of the Occult Hand! What is that? 'Tis "a secret society of American journalists who have been able to slip the meaningless and telltale phrase 'It was as if an occult hand had…' in print as an inside joke."

Your Challenge this month is to slip your own version of that silly phrase into your own writing! HOWEVER, while this is only one simple phrase, since it does not come with the requirement of having a thread with 8 posts, you have the additional challenge of incorporating 5 different phrases into 5 different posts!

It’s April y’all, it’s time to get silly!!!

CHALLENGE REQUIREMENTS:

— Using examples in the article linked as inspiration (not your own), create FIVE DIFFERENT PHRASES of your own in FIVE DIFFERENT POSTS.
— sentence MUST include the phrase in this format: “as if an occult hand had…”
— you may use different characters and different threads
