Lissington,

I find myself unexpectedly in the care of some... extra nifflers. Ginger apparently had a tryst I did not know about, the harlot, and now I have four spare nifflers. Do you know if your creatures professor is in need? I want to rehome them to a responsible set, but not entirely sure where to go about doing that. I have a few feelers out at work, but thought I would try you as well. Certainly the still get studied in OWLs, right?
Cheers,
Scamander

Scamander,

Poor Ginger! I'm sure she'll make a wonderful mother. I will ask Professor Nicolescu if she requires a niffler - I am sure she will be thrilled to have been thought of. Of course, if you need a good home for one I had a niffler for a decade, on loan from the ministry of course, so I know how they are. I'm responsible?! Miss my friend. I wonder if he's at Gringotts now, terrorizing some goblins.

Lissington,

Whatever it takes to get at least three of them off my hands. I rather suspect that Miss MacFusty would like one of them, she's always been so fond of Ginger, which means I shall be keeping one for now, but if you want one of the others, by all means, you're welcome to one of them. You'll have to come pick it up, as I obviously can't send it through the post. I was able to source another possible spot for one, so I'm almost there.

Stop by at your earliest convenience. They'll be ready to be separated in a few week's time I suspect and then you can take one home.
Cheers,
Scamander

Scamander,

Oh, yes. You are the best! I will definitely take one off your hands. I can stop by during one my weekends off, whenever they're ready. If it's a girl, I think I'll name her Filipa, and if it's a boy, Phil.

Lissington,

Wonderful. I won't be able to tell which sex they are for a few weeks yet, it's not overly obvious until they get a little older. Doesn't seem like you have much of a preference, regardless. I'll keep you updated!
Cheers,
Scamander
