Appearance:
Tobias is a tall man, standing at six foot even. He has an athletic build with a few scars scattered across his body. He has dark, curly hair and blue eyes. He is right handed. He dresses in what is considered suitable for a middle class man with a tendency towards darker colours.
History:
• 1867 • Tobias is born as Edmund Ravencrest, son to one of the upper class Ravencrest families.
• 1870 • Edmund displays his first signs of magic which involves causing birds to erupt from his siblings toy box.
• 1875 • Edmund secretly follows one of the older family members through the underground tunnels one night, curious about what they are up to. It is there that he witnesses a murder and is ultimately unfazed. Even so, he tells no one and he is also half certain that the family member knew he was there the whole time.
• 1878 • Edmund goes off to Hogwarts and is sorted into Gryffindor. He is charming, social and quick to make friends. He is equally as quick to sus out which of his peers will be of the most use to him.
• 1878-1881 • Edmunds time at Hogwarts is largely nothing of note and is pretty typical. He has no interest in Quidditch so does not play. Outside of Hogwarts, Tobias has begun getting trained for the duties he must undertake upon graduating.
• 1881-1883 • These particular years of Edmunds schooling see him fall passionately for a schoolmate. One who is both male and a non-criminal civilian. Unlike Edmund, who already has blood on his hands at the mere age of fifteen.
• Mid 1883 • Edmund gets his owls and to celebrate his excellent grades is permitted to check out the newly opened Sanditon Resort with his peers. He never returns from this trip, believed to have died somewhere en route. In actuality, he was spirited away by a Fangworth in a previously laid plan to fake Edmunds death so that he might escape from his family to be with the lover they intensely disapprove of. He goes underground for a time with his lover, who was brought in on it. The teenager also undergoes various enchantments that make it so that he will not be immediately recognizable to people that knew him as "Edmund". This practice would be kept up until he is older and more naturally does not look as he did at the time of his "death". His lover is also made to take an Unbreakable Vow to protect Edmund's new identity as Tobias Fangworth.

He eventually works as a naturalist in the general publics perception with a focus on animals. He also helps attend to the thestral stables and in the familys Diagon Alley menagarie. He seems a natural at being a Fangworth.
• 1884 • Tobias and his lover are caught up in the Wellingtonshire fire. They come out all right, thankfully but Tobias's noticeable indifference to the death around them causes his lover to become distant.
• 1885 • Tobias's lover decides to leave him and it is far from amicable. Blinded by rage, Tobias (not wholly intentionally but with intent enough that his words do succeed in becoming a curse) casts a curse on his lover that the other will only know suffering and misfortune until he returns to him. His lover does not recognize the words as a curse and due to it not having been his full intent, Tobias eventually assumes nothing came to pass.

Personality: Tobias is seemingly kind and polite at first blush. He has a charming smile and a way about him that pulls one in. He has been a skilled cursemaker since a very young age when he began being trained in it. Tobias is darker in personality than most people realize, feeling an indifference to death and murder, even reveling in it at times. He is clever and resourceful. He generally thinks creatures/animals are better than people.
