Gus moved through the classroom with a watchful eye, hands clasped loosely behind his back. Teaching the Patronus Charm was always a test of patience—not just for the students, but for him, too. He offered steady encouragement as the first attempts fizzled or fell short, reminding them that the memory fueling the spell didn’t have to be perfect, just personal – something that made them happy.
Ms. McFausty, Mr. Silente and Mr. Dursley had the same outcome as each other – nothing. Gus wasn’t surprised though, as many of their peers also weren’t having much luck. “Keep trying! I know you’re all capable.” He said to all them, giving them a nod of encouragement to try again.
Ms. Gamp and Ms. Escher were nearly there, although their spells fizzled out before the formation of a wisp. “Excellent work. Next time, I know you’ll do it.” He said to each of them. They were so close. He could feel it.
Mr. Black seemed to have latched on to be able to cast a wisp, as there it was again. He smiled at the Slytherin, pleased with the work he was doing. Mr. Fudge was able to join Mr. Black with being able to produce a wisp. “Mr. Fudge, good work!” Gus said to the Hufflepuff, turning to grin at him, too. This was turning out to be the most productive NEWT class yet in terms of being able to produce.
Lowering wisp to 15, 19 for a non-corporeal, and a 26 for a corporeal remain unchanged. Each posted attempt boosts your next attempt by one point. Please update Memory/info if your character switches to something new.
