Sweetie had the Avril Lavigne/Evanescence 2000s Pop Goth phase. Wore lots of black. It was a thing. Nevermind that black is still half of her wardrobe, it's considered cool now. Adult Sweetie is still in politics, still feels like she deserves better than she gets, likely still has ran/will run for office in a modern setting.

I feel like Vivienne and Sibylla would be Real House Wife types, but they wouldn'tlike each other. Vivienne would have her own brand, while Sibylla would be a full on house maker and both would butt heads about it (and these tv shows totally x10 these things for the #viewers).

Vincent has a pronouns journal. Every time he learns about a new pronoun that someone identifies as that he hasn't heard of before, he writes it down and tries to read it back to himself. He doesn't always get the pronunciation right, but he keeps trying.

Modern!Vampire Vincent would likely have tried to be part of the political parties more actively, if not running himself if the law allowed. Highly doubting vampire rights would be great in modern times.

Rosie stopped wearing dresses entirely in her early twenties when her mother had mentioned just how much prettier she looked in them a few too many times. Probably married in her thirties, after having a career. If not gradually going complete no-contact with her parents, she has at least kept them at a distance after hs, going to college on scholarships and loans. No, they don't get alone time with her kids.

How my characters would use Discord channels:

Ford- only checks it a few times a day but reads all the messages he missed. Often has thoughts about them but he won't reply to old messages because he doesn't want to call anyone out by accident. DMs Tycho all his snippy comments rather than saying them.

Ben- drops in once a week or so, reads nothing he missed, jumps into the conversation and makes the same jokes someone else made 10 lines above him. Communicates mostly in gifs.

Jules- only checks the channel a few times a week but has zero hesitation about replying to a message from 3 days ago to "Well ACTUALLY" you. Has started fights over misogynistic comments. Will start the same fight multiple times if she missed multiple comments when they were live.

Ezra- has any channel with more than 6 members muted. Only responds when people @ him. Has basically created his own shadow Discord server by having a bunch of group DMs he checks and uses.

Oz- joins Discord servers specifically to start fights with people, leaves when he's banned from the server or blocked by enough people that it's no longer fun to stir up shit. Will do that "calm down, it's just a joke" thing but only because he knows everyone sees through it and it makes them more irritated. Used to be online all the time but with his new job he's busy and only active on Discord between the hours of 2a - 4a.
