One of the cheapest homeless shelters in Victorian London charged four pennies to sleep in a coffin. Which was... still better than sleeping upright against a rope? — Jordan / Lynn
If he was being completely honest, the situation didn't look good, but Sylvano was not in the habit of being completely honest about anything. No reason to start now.

"Caiman?" Greer hadn't the foggiest what that was, but she was intrigued. The hippopotamus would be worth investigating however. "Is it all tooth? I hear they're are quite menacing." For something that looked like a tubby water horse, they were quite violent from all that she knew about them. "I think I should like to see it regardless." Greer liked those sorts of things.

Greer has a noticeable Australian accent. I normally mention it, but fyi!

"Essentially," Harry said, his tone amused. "Which I think downplays the fierceness of it somewhat, for better or worse." Perceived ferocity at least dissuaded most people from getting too close. Most sane people, anyway. "Regardless, I would highly recommend it."

"I shall head that way next then." As long as it wasn't the other one from Australia, she would be fine. Greer eyed the moose one more time and tried to keep a size gauge in her head so she could compare to the hippo. Seeing both "animals" in one place was a little jarring, but she was enjoying herself. It was different if nothing else. "Thanks for the tip."
