History:Jameson Potter does not cut a particularly intimidating frame. Presently standing at four feet, five inches, he is certainly on the short side compared to the boys his age in his acquaintance. Though he inherited his father’s darker locks, he is told that much of the rest of him favours his mother: light complexion, rounded cheeks, normally-sized ears, and a delicate mouth. His brown eyes hail from elsewhere in the family, though he is told his Uncle Bennet had the same. He dresses neatly for the most part, but can rather disregard his appearance if excited about a game or ‘adventure’. Jameson is right-handed.

Personality:Timeline
1883 Jameson is born to an exceptionally young couple—a couple that includes the youngest Minister of Magic to date. 1884 Had he not been a literal baby, Jammy might recall this as the worst year of his life. To be sure, it was the most tumultuous, and one that probably saddled him with some undiagnosed trauma nonetheless.
In March, following Uncle Bennet’s wedding, Darcy Potter is found murdered. The care of Jameson is left not to his pregnant mother, but to his uncle, prompting the young boy—not yet one—to be removed from the only environment he has ever known.
Some months later, his mother dies delivering his sister, who comes to live with them.1885 His aunt is kidnapped. She returns later, memories gone, having delivered his cousin Jane. When older, Jammy would come to understand that not only did Uncle Baxter deliver the babe, but he did so in a cemetery. 1886 In Jameson’s first memory, he is at his uncle Bennet’s funeral. 1887 The hodgepodge family quits Wellingtonshire, settling instead in Bartonburg, very near Padmore Park. It is a smaller home, but Jameson settles relatively easily. 1889 In June, the family sees yet another major change in the formal addition of Uncle Baxter as Odira marries.
His first act of magic takes place after the nuptials as, during a game of tag, he freezes Wesley Weasley’s feet to the ground so that he might catch the boy more easily.1890 What makes a cousin a cousin? Jameson knows that he and baby Ewan do not share blood, but Odira is his aunt, Baxter is more or less his uncle, and they all live in the same house together. That’s good enough for Jammy. 1891 - Present A few years without any major upheaval (bar the arrival of baby Beatrice in '93) allows Jameson to enjoy a relatively ordinary childhood. Though the letter won’t come until the summer months, Aunt Odira assures him he will, indeed, be departing for Hogwarts in the autumn, a prospect the lad looks at with a mix of excitement and anxiety.

Jameson loves his family deeply and has never been made to feel like an orphan. In his heart, Odira has always been his mother, though because of the transient manner of paternal figures in his life, he’s never really seen anyone as a father—not even Uncle Baxter, who has been around for years. As a result, he feels rather like the man of the house, and in particular is protective of his sister and his aunt. He is still a little boy, but one who plays at being more mature than he should need to be. He takes some time to warm up to new people or situations.
Though no one in his family ever sought to put weight upon his shoulders in any way, Jameson nonetheless has long felt as though he had to live up to his late father’s accomplishments—both their scope and the young age at which they were achieved. This has prompted him to be particularly dedicated to his studies throughout his childhood. It will also likely contribute to some anxiety as he ages and stakes actually start to matter.
