Welcome to Charming, where swirling petticoats, the language of flowers, and old-fashioned duels are only the beginning of what is lying underneath…
After a magical attempt on her life in 1877, Queen Victoria launched a crusade against magic that, while tidied up by the Ministry of Magic, saw the Wizarding community exiled to Hogsmeade, previously little more than a crossroad near the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In the years that have passed since, Hogsmeade has suffered plagues, fires, and Victorian hypocrisy but is still standing firm.
Thethe year is now 1894. It’s time to join us and immerse yourself in scandal and drama interlaced with magic both light and dark.
You cannot imagine the shriek of excitement I gave when I read the notices in the paper. Of course I had no doubt this day would soon come. Even so, I am so very thrilled for you. It is so very thrilling to wed the man you love and I am so happy that you get to feel that joy. Of course, I am here for any help you might need though I am sure your sisters have you covered several times over.
You beat me to writing to you! I was sitting in the bliss for a day apparently. I just sitting down to pen a few letters to my sisters today!
Thank you, I'm very excited. It's a strange feeling, but in a good way? I'm sure you know what I mean. It's been too long since we've been able to get together, we should have tea soon! How is the family? I can't believe you have a toddler now. I know you must be kept incredibly busy, but I would love to see you. Please let me know when a good time to stop by would be!
I shall be available for calls any time this or next week! I would love a chance to have tea. Perhaps I might even drop by the florist shop like I often did during my debutante days.
The family is doing quite well. I still cannot get enough of hearing Oxalis calling for Mama or Dada. He is such an intelligent young thing but I suppose that is what every doting mother says about their children. Do let me know a time when you might come by so that I might have things ready for your arrival.
I can manage either, truly! It would be lovely to see you either way. Your house might be more comfortable for a true visit, but you are more than welcome to visit the shop if you would like to get out of the house. I would love to see little Oxalis too, it's been far too long. I will leave the decision up to you, just give me a time that works best!
Everything seems to have accelerated in time, I've been busy! However, I believe I have some free time on that Sunday afternoon, before dinner with my parents. I will be over after lunch, does that work?
