    Full Name: Valentine Theodore Wenlock
    Nicknames: N/A
    Birthdate: February 14th, 1851
    Current Age: 35 Years
    Occupation: Arithmancy Professor
    Reputation: 5
    Residence: Hogsmeade
    Hogwarts House: Hufflepuff
Wand: Silver lime, 13 inches, unicorn hair, swishy
    Blood Status: Halfblood
    Social Class: Middle
    Family:
Father | Theodore Wenlock, 1810-1880, arithmancer and author
Mother | Alexandra Wenlock nee Reynolds, 1830-1884, homemaker
Sister | Theodora Wenlock, 1861, blind Seer and Diviner
    Appearance:
Well built and standing at five feet eleven inches tall, Valentine could be considered a “looker” though he is far too humble to consider this himself. He, in his most humble opinion, is considerably “average” if not for his being tall. He has dark hair and green eyes. His facial hair is immaculately groomed and never causes Valentine to look disheveled. He stands tall and wears muggle suits when robes are not necessitated. Valentine is right handed.
    History:
February 14th, 1851 |The first child of Theodore and Alexandra Wenlock is born on Valentine’s Day and, in celebration of the day, is named after it.

1858 | A late bloomer in terms of magical displays, Valentine finally puts rumors to rest that he is a squib.

March 1861 | Ten years old and there is finally another child in the family. His sister, Theodora, is born blind and yet Valentine takes a quick liking and grows fiercely protective of her.

1862 | Valentine goes to Hogwarts and is sorted into Hufflepuff.

1864 | Valentine adds Arithmancy and Divination to his classes.

1866 - 1867 | Determining he needed a hobby, Valentine tries out and gets a place on the Hufflepuff Quidditch team as Beater. In spring 1867, he sits his OWLs and gets the following scores:

    ARITHMANCY | O
    ASTRONOMY | E
    CHARMS | O
DEFENSE AGAINST THE DARK ARTS | E
    DIVINATION | O
    HERBOLOGY | E
    HISTORY OF MAGIC | E
    POTIONS | O
    TRANSFIGURATION | O
He does not drop any classes.
1868 - 1869 | A seventh year, a Quidditch player, and a rather academically driven individual, Valentine is almost conflicted over what to do after graduation. His father convinces him to be an arithmancy researcher (arithmancer) and Valentine settles into his studies, determined to do well, almost at the expense of his Quidditch fascination. In the spring of 1869, he gains the following NEWT scores:
    ARITHMANCY | O
    ASTRONOMY | A
    CHARMS | O
DEFENSE AGAINST THE DARK ARTS | E
    DIVINATION | O
    HERBOLOGY | A
    HISTORY OF MAGIC | E
    POTIONS | E
    TRANSFIGURATION | E
He skips attending the Coming Out Ball and apparates home to his parents’ home in Cornwall. He begins working with his father as an arithmancer. Eight year old Theodora gives a prophecy, which confounds the family as to her lack of physical sight. It is ultimately her last, but she seemed from that point on to be accurate with variable predictions and naming babies with some wishy-washy things that convey greatness. Theodora doesn’t like the pressure, and Valentine supports her.

1871 | Theodora gets a letter from Hogwarts. The Wenlocks however decide that a blind girl has no business using magic. Valentine becomes enraged by this and takes Theodora away, teaching her in a small flat he rents. He also begins researching on his own and publishes his findings, though most are only article length at best.

1875 | Theodora and Valentine start advertising Theodora as a naming seer to make some extra money.

1877 | Valentine moves them to Hogsmeade. He buys a very small, modest home in Bartonburg. He writes and publishes an essay on how Divination and Arithmancy compliment each other in the field.

1880 | Theodore dies and leaves Valentine some money and the remains of his Arithmancy notes. Valentine begins to expand upon the base research, itching for a new discovery. Alexandra comes to live with the siblings.

1884 | PLAGUE. Alexandra dies and Theodora gets very ill. Valentine is very scared Theodora won’t make it, but somehow her resilient spirit survives.

1885 to Present | Money gets tight, and Valentine starts rushing his work trying to make more money including dumbed down Arithmancy guides and general hodgepodge works that ended up being complete flops on the market. Around Christmas 1886, Valentine hears that the Arithmancy teaching position at Hogwarts opened up and he immediately sent in an application. He was subsequently hired.

Personality: hard working| loyal | bookish | socially awkward | protective | kind | Quidditch hobbyist
