Did you know?
The Language of the Flowers was a popular method to express feelings where words might be improper, but did you know other means of doing so? Some ladies used their parasols, as well as their fans, gloves, and hankies to flirt with a gentleman (or alternatively, tell them to shove it!). — Bree ( Submit your own)

The Matchmaking Menace
This boy, then. He wasn't new. Wasn't one of the worst people in the common room, those rotten rich boys - like Mr. Jailkeeper - who could not fathom a world beyond their own farts. Was a good working class lad, so he'd heard. Had a bit of a weird looking face, and a bit of a weird thing for preaching. Still.Aubrey Davis in The Under-Sofa

Winter Banners
Kayte says it's almost time for winter skins already (;_;) so I am here to collect your submissions.

PM Pru's account here with your submissions. You can send as many as you want until November 9th. At which point, the staff will select their favorite(s) and use them in the new winter skins.

For your reference, this charming moodboard. Bear in mind that we're looking for winter colors and motifs this time around. The more variation we get in base color and overall tone (dark/neutral/light), the better we can serve YOU and YOUR CHARACTERS, so the more options the merrier! We usually get a TON of blues for winter submissions, so if you can deviate from that it'd be very much appreciated.

Submission guidelines:
  • Must be sized 1500x350.
  • No borders or transparency.
  • Models used should be stock, have hidden faces, etc. (We try to avoid having any of our characters featured.)
  • Photos, textures and fonts used should respect the artist/model/creator that made them.
  • Text should say "Charming" and "Victorian Potterverse". Other text is optional but everything should be in fonts that are legible.

Send any questions or concerns to me on Skype or via PM!
