To say that Yuri was excited was an understatement! His first proper tournament! He really wished it had been someone he liked less - and wasn't likely to be the captain of the Quidditch team next semester. He had a bet on with some of the others and his money was on Fudge.

When called upon to cast he stepped forward and attempted a disarming spell on Mister Fudge.

The shield charm was more than sufficient—which made Felicity's second job as a healer-on-site far easier.

"The first point to Mr. Fudge," she announced almost unnecessarily. "He will begin our second pass."

Paxton would feel a little more pride in taking the round if Podsnapper was just a wee bit older. Even so when he was bid to cast again to begin the next round, Paxton cast the jelly fingers jinx.
