Well built and on the muscular side, Eugene stands above average at five foot ten inches. He has rich brown hair and bright grey-blue eyes. He smiles easily and it shows all over his face. He is often spotting stubble of some sort, mostly because he forgets to shave, but he leaves it sometimes because he feels like being clean shaven makes him look younger. Being a working man constantly on the go, Eugene dresses however he sees fit for the day's activities. At work he wears his designated ministry robes, but often sheds them in the office and rolls up his sleeves. He is right-handed.
| Eugene is added as the third child and first boy to the ever-growing Scamander family. He is a bright-eyed and amiable infant to enjoys attention a little bit too much.
| Margery joins the family and Alexander feels doomed to have more girls. Eugene is fascinated by the baby and enjoys playing with her and entertaining her.
| In a last ditch attempt for another boy, the last Scamander child is brought into the world; another girl they name Amelia but she is most often called Amy. Eugene displays his first big of accidental magic a few months later, while playing with the family dog, the two accidentally knock over Amy's bassinet. Startled and worried, Eugene levitates the baby out of the cradle before it falls. Victoria goes off to Hogwarts that fall.
| Emmaline heads off to Hogwarts to join Victoria and Eugene finds himself finding awaiting his own turn harder and harder. He enjoys his time at home with his mother and younger sisters however. His mother, an immensely kind person always did charity work and often brought the kids along to show them how generosity could have such a positive impact on people.
School Year 1864 - 1865
| It is finally Eugene's turn to head of to Hogwarts where he is sorted into Hufflepuff. He finds himself very at home in the castle almost immediately. He makes quick friends with a Gryffindor by the name of Hamish MacFusty.
School Year 1865 - 1866
| School continues to be a place where Eugene thrives. He loves people and can't get enough of meeting new friends and constantly having people around. He adapts rather easily to the academics though proves to be a moderate student at best.
School Year 1866- 1867
| In a last minute decision, Eugene decides to try out for the Hufflepuff quidditch team. Astonished and please to make it, he starts his first year as the team's keeper. He adds muggle studies and CoMC as his electives, thoroughly enjoying both. He is fascinated by muggles and proves to excel in the class due to his thirst for knowledge on the subject. He is equally as excited by Care of Magical Creatures, though it is less of a novelty to him. Victoria graduates and debuts into society.
School Year 1867-1868

School Year 1868 - 1869
| Shocked and pleased to receive a prefect's badge in his summer Hogwarts letter, Eugene is gifted with a new broom from his parents. He attributes it to his way with people rather than his academic success. His OWLs are not abysmal and he is able to continue on in several subjects. Emmaline graduates and debuts.
School Year 1869 - 1870
| Pleased this year to find himself with an additional honor, Eugene has been selected as quidditch captain for his house team. He continues on with Transfiguration, Charms, Herbology, Muggle Studies, Care of Magical Creatures and Defense Against the Dark arts for NEWTs.
School Year 1870 - 1871
| Eugene finishes out the year as prefect and quidditch captain, relieved he didn't make head boy.
: Forgoing a professional quidditch career for something more meaningful, Eugene starts his year-long internship at the ministry in London. Victoria marries this summer in a small wedding to a man she chose herself, a muggleborn of good standing; nobody in the family argues.
| With his internship up, Eugene finds himself as a full time employee of the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Office in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Amy finally goes off to Hogwarts and as independent as ever, does well quickly.

| Victoria and her husband welcome their first child. Eugene is very content to be the uncle and despite his solid establishment in the ministry he continues to wait on finding a wife, instead choosing to focus on more political and career goals before settling down. Margie graduates and debuts, though chooses to find herself a job in the mean time, unlike her sisters.

Eugene spends a year abroad in America, working with their ministry on Magical/Muggle relations. Emmaline and her husband welcome their first child.
| Upon returning home Eugene transfers to the newly established Hogsmeade Division of the ministry to head their Misuse of Muggle Artifacts office. He buys a large home with expansive land. During a holiday party, Eugene meets the captivating Hippolyta Argyle. He is immediately intrigued by her wit and kindness, despite her youth. The two start a correspondence during her time left at Hogwarts and Eugene helps her through the loss of her father.
| Eugene scrapes up the courage to ask for Hippolyta's hand after her graduation from school and the two marry on September 7th. Amy graduates and chooses to move in with Eugene and Polly in Hogsmeade, finding a job herself in town.
| Overjoyed by their first pregnancy early in the winter, the newlyweds welcome their first child, a boy they name Cirus the following autumn.
| The Scamanders lose Cirus to whooping cough. The pair are devastated and do their best to cope. Eugene does his best to support Polly through her grief and is relieved when she finds a new hobby, breeding hippogriffs, to occupy her time. Eugene transforms the land of their Wellingtonshire home to suit her needs.
| Polly and Eugene are trying to build their family. Eugene decides to run for Minister in the 1884 election with the full support of his wife.
