MEMORY: Back to getting her kitten

Well this was just ridiculous. Taking in a deep breath, she listened to what Professor Sleptov said and tried to focus on her memory of getting Emma once more. She reflected back on how amazing it had been to have a pet to finally call her own, the feel of the kitten's soft fur and the sound of her gentle purr. Focusing on those feelings, she raised her want and attempted the spell once again.

Still nothing. With a frown, she focused even more on her memory and put her all into it as she chanted the incantation, "Expecto Patronum!"

  

Munny wasn't too fussed when he still failed to produce anything from his wand. "Expecto patronum," he incanted as he gave it another try.

It was apparent this was not going to work — at least with the memory he was using. Instead of trying a memory more recent, Handsome focused on something everlasting, something that's had define him and defined his life: being sorted into Gryffindor and beginning his education.

Handsome had stated to multiple people on multiple occasions that he'd choose to stay in school forever if he could, and it wasn't because he liked homework and classes; it was becuase Hogwarts was his home.

Feel the memory? What exactly was that supposed to mean? A memory wasn't something physical that she could hold. Maybe he just meant to put more emotion into the spell? Fine, she could do that. She didn't change her memory but rather decided to focus more on it before casting the spell again. "Expecto patronum!"

Margaret felt excitement running though her. Though this wasn’t her favorite class, the idea of finding out her patronus was enough to get her thrilled. It was hard to think of a memory, however. It could be anything, really. Her life, for the most part, had been a good one, filled with fantastic memories. Taking a deep breath, thinking through several memories, she decided that meeting one of the wonderful creatures known as the Hippogriff was enough. “Expecto patronum”!

Iziza had attempted the patronus spell the year before with no results, and this year she was far determined to do better. The half of the year without school and the easy repeat of the end of her last year had been plenty of time for her own practicing - not just on this, but her magic in general, including the fraction of goblin magics she had inherited from her father. Maybe the combination of that, time, and what she considered a far better memory would produce more solid response than the year before did. "Expecto patronum!"
