Hello, friends! The start of term inches nearer and nearer, and we have some Hogwarts staff vacancies to fill! As always, you can reserve these roles in occupations and either create a new character for them, or transition an existing one! Occupations also lists the requirements for each role.

All positions (except house elves) are able to issue and deduct house points, as well as dole out detentions.

LEADERSHIP

Characters in a leadership position are more directly involved in the day-to-day lives of students. They must live at Hogwarts during the school year, though can return home during the holidays. They may choose to live there during the summer, too. Both IC and OOC, they're involved in student staff selection. Please do not take one of these roles if you can't interact with a student at least once per term.

TEACHING

Hogwarts' teaching staff deliver lessons to their students. Those who choose to play a professor should expect to produce one lesson OR homework assignment per level per term, which would be 2-6 lessons/homework assignments per year, depending on the subject. We also strongly encourage interaction with students and faculty outside of class, however we appreciate that your own plots are likely to take priority here! Teaching staff may choose to live at Hogwarts during the school year, or in their own homes in Hogsmeade only.
