What: Unveiling of the Hogsmeade - 1893 Dragon Disaster Memorial
Who: Anyone who lost someone - or would be socially obligated to pay respects
Cost: NA
Where: Aspodel Cemetary for Hogsmeade, and a similar location in London for their memorial stone
Why: Mourning
When: 14th September

Notable individuals who lost someone, ministry types, including Justin Ross were notified by letter. Nephele Lestrange has gotten up some money from donors to erect a memorial stone in the cemetery and a similar one in London. It has the names of everyone who was killed, even a small section for the muggles who were killed.

A notice was also put into the prophet so everyone would have a way to find out it was happening. There will be a few speeches, a few prayers, a few hymns and then the stone will be unveiled and a wreath lain at the memorial. The speeches and ceremony are reserved for the Hogsmeade memorial - no muggles to overhear talk of dragons

Tea will be served afterwards at the Hogsmeade Ballroom and the announcement of the orphan fund to support the education of children who lost one or both parents in the attack.
