Christmas Eve two young people were reported missing: Mister Somersby Fudge, of Sanditon Resort, and Miss Acacia Ruskin, Hogwarts seventh year. Despite the recent rash of elopements among members of our community, we at the Prophet have been assured that this case is different. Miss Ruskin's chaperon, Mrs. Hertz, last reported seeing the pair greeting each other outside of Whizzhard Books in Hogsmeade. They were seen picking up a peice of mistletoe before vanishing into the night air.

The Portkey office has been working diligently to find this young couple and has launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the location of the portkey. If anyone has further information regarding Mister Fudge or Miss Ruskin they are asked to contact the Ministry of Magic.
