Several are wounded and at least one dead after a rampaging troll wreaked havoc upon Hogsmeade's High Street and, more specifically, destroyed Honeyduke's Sweet Shop yesterday afternoon.

The troll is believed to have originated at the carnival that was to open earlier this week. Without magic to lay the appropriate wards, carnival workers have been concerned about the security of the beasts and beings that have been incorporated into their acts.

Not much is known about the incident, with the oppressive fog still hindering transportation and communication in the region. Confirmed is that several individuals were evacuated from the village by train to Mercy Magical Hospital in Edinburgh, where they were treated for wounds of varying severity.

The identity of the deceased is known to officials, but cannot be released until the family is informed. Sources will not confirm if the body is from the shop, or elsewhere on the street.
