Happy June! All students and most faculty have now returned home for the summer holidays. Reminder that individuals under seventeen are not permitted to use magic out and about in their daily lives ;)

With the end of the school year comes the start of prefect season, the two months in which characters (and players) lusting after student staff positions can have a run at it!  For instructions, details, or to get your application rolling, click here!

The Summer Solstice Festival will open later this month, but the carnival workers who accompany it are soon to start their quarantine. That means that we're now accepting carnie applications! Just be sure you don't thread them at Hogsmeade Hospital until the 3rd, and not anywhere else until the 17th.

Finally, today is the LAST DAY to sign up for June posting wizard, and tomorrow is our June AC!

The AC is underway—deactivations have been completed, and just a couple of lists remain to tidy up! Remember that if you lost a character you did not wish to lose, you may post in maintenance to take their soul back from the reaper starting Wednesday, June 6th.

Posting Wizard has rolled over! May's winners were Fallin (Sisse Thompsett) with 77 and Lauren (Elladora Black) with 57. This month will be an epic showdown amongst Beanie, Olive, MJ, Te, Lady, Lynn, Kelly, Kit, and Meeka!

A strange fog has encompassed all of Salem Square in Irvingly! The fog is thick and seemingly magic in origin, but you can walk in and out as you please. You cannot see very far into or out of it even when walking through, and weirdly enough it is making everything smell dusty.

Magical Accidents & Catastrophes has been dispatched to observe the fog, but is officially still observing the 'no magic' rule that Irvingly touts.

Not a thread today, but an important heads up of some impending doom deadlines & other reminders!

• Saturday is the last day to claim the June Challenge!
  
• Sunday is the last day to sign up for Choose Your Own Adventure and Fog Roulette. While you're welcome to sign up for both, please don't sign up a particular character for both!
  
• We're now accepting signups for July Posting Wizard!
  
• Applications for sixth/seventh year prefects close one week from today. Get yours in!

Further, the July AC will take place on Saturday, July 7th! To ensure you survive, please make sure that...

• Your mini-profile is filled in with height properly formatted
  
• All of your characters have been listed in the Character Directory—check back on your entries to make sure they were processed properly!
  
• Characters made before the last AC have posted at least once this month
  
• This one's more for staff, but that your full profile has been filled in ;)
  

If all of the above are squared away, there should be no reason for you to fall inactive in the upcoming check!  To our new members: the AC requires no work on your part. The staff team simply makes sure the above is seen to!

The 7th will also be be the first draw of our summer raffle ;) June's PW winners will get their entries put in BEFORE drawing.
