Appearance: Jamesina has fiery, red hair that falls to her waist when left to nature. Her eyes are a hazely green and her skin is pale with freckles generously splashed across it. She stands at five feet, four and half inches and has a slender, willow-y figure. Jammy wears the typical clothing for the working classes though she isn't too fussed with staying up to date with the latest fashions. She, does, however, strive to look presentable.
History:
1869: Jamesina is born. She is the firstborn so she is named the feminine forms of her father and grandfathers names. They reside in the Hebrides where her father makes brooms, often times trying to invent new ones.
1876: Jamesina has her first signs of magic.
1880: Jamesina goes off to Hogwarts and is sorted into Hufflepuff. She is vibrant, outgoing and has fun meeting everyone. It isn't too long before she has a pretty nice circle of friends to surround herself with.
1882: Jamesina chooses Muggle Studies, Arithmancy and Care of Magical Creatures for her electives. Over the summer, she is attacked and sexually assaulted by a trusted friend of her fathers. Luckily, she is not impregnated and is able to keep it a secret from all but her father. In the fall, she returns to Hogwarts with a completely different personality than she had years prior, being more closed off and withdrawn.
1884: Jamesina starts her fifth year and hopes to score well enough on her OWLs to make it to seventh year. She harbors secret ambitions to be an auror, feeling like it will vindicate her past. This same year she falls in love with Andrew Bingham though due to her past that she cannot bring herself to tell him about, she tends to shy away from any physical affection. Eventually, Jamesina's ambitions turn to the more proper and realistic one of being a Mediwitch.
1885: Between Jamesina's reluctance to tell Andrew about her past and Andrew's distancing himself due to familial problems, they end up parting ways. Jamesina goes on to get her owls and becomes an mediwitch in training at St. Mungos. To be closer to her place of employment, she moves to London and begins living with a small group of fellow working class girls in Magical London. After her six months of training, Jamesina becomes a full mediwitch.
1887: A hate arrow on Valentine's Day has her uncharacteristically hating on Harvey Beauregard despite the fact she has no reason to. Once the spell wears off, she is quite embarrassed and sends him apology cookies. The Wizarding World Market Disaster finds Andrew coming back into her life when she is the mediwitch tending to his injuries. Their thing rekindles.
1888: Currently, Jamesina is balancing work and spending time with Andrew as well as her other friends. Life is pretty good for her at the moment though she still has yet to tell Andrew about her past and the real reason why she has always shied away from even the most innocent of touches.
