History:

1878: Born as the last child of the Diggory household, Egbert is soon nicknamed "Bertie". It proves to stick far better than his actual name, and he seems to only be called Egbert when in trouble.

1879: Only having had so little time in the world by now, Bertie is already taken from Britain and all the way to Egypt. Such is the way of being the child of a curse-breaker and historian.

1886: With the completion of mother and father's manuscript, Bertie is taken from the only environment that he has ever known - having no recollection of Britain. Not only is Bertie fluent in English, but also Arabic. It seems to not be a common trait when he tries to befriend other children in Hogsmeade.

1887: Signs of magic show when Bertie and a neighbor boy get into an argument about a game that they had been playing. Bertie accidently causes the boy to become mute. Thankfully this is not permanent.

1889: Bertie is left as the only sibling in the house. Mother and father's manuscript becomes a book. Archie gets brand new supplies, and Bertie is left wondering if he will receive the same treatment.

1890: Hogwarts incoming!
