Another activity check come and gone! Deactivations are complete and most, if not all, lists have been tidied :) If you lost a character you'd like back, you may post in Maintenance starting Wednesday, December 4th. If you have no currently active characters you can post in maintenance immediately! If you lost a character before the AC, you can post there whenever you'd like!
This is also your last call to sign up for secret swap and posting wizard! Watch for more contest/event announcements this week!

Santa has come early, and he's brought us some new skins! That's right, we have four lovely new skins featuring banners by MJ, Lady, and Dante! Moving clockwise, we have "Champagne Showers", "After Hours", "Treetops Glisten", and "Frozen in Time". As always, you can change your skin settings either using the dropdown at the bottom of the board or by checking out your UCP options.
The twelve days of Charming are slated to begin next week—starting Tuesday, make sure to hop on daily for your chance at the stamp and some ~fabulous prizes!
And last but not least, a quick PW announcement! Last month's victor was Bree (Holly Scrimgeour) with 29 posts! Good luck to December's competitors!

A person or persons unknown wormed their way into the Brain Room in the Department of Mysteries—their motives still remain unclear. What isn't unclear is that the brains have gotten out of their tank, and are now roving the Ministry of Magic building!
If a brain gets close enough to you to latch on, it will latch hard and try to suffocate y0u. Each brain is a specific thought given form—even if it is removed before you suffocate, it will leave you consumed by that thought for a number of days. The thoughts are simplistic, such as "melancholy" or "joy", rather than complex thoughts like "I wonder if fish dream" xD
In addition to the brains, you also might be trampled in people's efforts to flee, so that's fun.

Holy heck, how is the month almost over?!
The January AC will take place in one week, on Sunday, January 5th. What do you need to ensure to get through without a headache?
- Your mini-profile is filled in with height properly formatted
- All of your characters have been listed in the Character Directory—check back on your entries to make sure they were processed properly! Anyone reactivated this month will need to be placed back on.
- Characters made before the last AC have posted at least once this month
- This one's mostly for staff, but that your full profile has been filled in ;)
Little Lucy not co-operating? We have a ton of IC events going on, and are currently seeking events for January as well :)
And speaking of January, the London Society for the Practice of Combative Magic has organized a dueling tournament for both students and adults~
Last (for now) but never least, we are taking PW signups for January!
