Appearance: Jasper stands at an average four feet and eight inches. He is fairly skinny, in the stage of his life where he's starting to get a bit gangly. He has curly, dark brown hair and dark green eyes. His ears a bit big, but he's confident that he'll eventually grown into them. Jasper has a third arm that sprouts from his left shoulder. It is much smaller than his other arms, and it has very limited range of motion. In order to hide its existence, he straps the arm to his abdomen and overcompensates with baggier clothing. Although clean, his clothing's extra material makes him appear a bit frumpy. He is right handed.
History:
1877 Lillian Diggory is born early in the year to Franklin and Clara Diggory. Her father has recently begun working as a doctor, and her mother often assists as a nurse of sorts.

1878 Jasper is born in August. At some point during pregnancy, his twin was lost in the womb, and he ended up developing Polymelia as a result. Much to his parents' dismay, the boy is born with three arms. Lillian becomes pregnant again very soon after.

1879 Asa Diggory is born. Clara no longer helps her husband with his work; she has her hands full raising three children.

1881 Franklin Diggory attempts to operate on his eldest son's third arm, hoping to remove it. It is a messy affair and Jasper's first incidence of accidental magic occurs when the arm miraculously heals itself. Later in the year, Bronson Diggory is born.

1883 Jasper begins attending the village school. He does very well and seems to enjoy learning. However, he doesn't seem to make many friends due to the stigma surrounding his arm.

1885 Franklin again tries to operate on his son's arm, but this time his tools end up floating away. The poor man becomes convinced their home is haunted. Jasper isn't quite sure if he was the cause, or if his father was right. Either way, Franklin doesn't try to fix Jasper's arm again.

1887 Jasper becomes interested in medicine and starts shadowing his father everywhere he goes. He even starts to help animals as practice. Oddly, one particular robin's wing heals much more quickly than it should. The boy hopes to follow in his father's footsteps, if his grades are good.

1889 Jasper received his Hogwarts letter, much to his utter confusion. The logical part of his brain thinks someone is playing a trick on him, but there are too many unexplained occurrences that happened in his childhood to be ignored. To top it off, his father admits that his elder brother attended the same school. He wasn't aware his father even had an older brother. August becomes an utter whirlwind of trying to grapple with the truth of who he is, trying to convince his parents he is still the same person, and worrying if he'll even fit in with so called witches and wizards.
