The First Day: For better or worse, one’s first day at school is a milestone moment—that is especially true for those who attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. One’s impressions and feelings on that day deserve to be preserved—in post form!

Write a letter, journal entry, or read-only post set at the end of a character’s very first day at Hogwarts that considers their journey, sorting, general feelings, or some combination of the above. Regardless of the format you choose, it should be at least 500 words in length. You may do this with any of your characters, not just current first years—that’s what the past forum is for!
