Appearance: Tall, dark and handsome would be how Clinton would describe himself. Standing at an even five foot eight and boasting a lean and muscular build, Clinton is definitely a man that takes care of himself. Perhaps a bit vain, he refuses to be seen without his brown hair styled just right or his clothing in immaculate condition. His eyes are a light blue that always have some sort of twinkle in them, more of than not a mischievous one. He often sports a bit of scruff, preferring it to a clean shaven face as he feels it gives him too much of a “baby face” look even though he still holds a grudge against his sister for taking his role of baby of the family. He is right handed.

History:

1856: Clinton comes into the world early one July morning loud and ready to take on the world. Luckily he’s the last or so they think as the boy proves to be quite the handful from the start.
1858: At just two years old, Clinton hardly recognizes one of his brothers leaving for school or his other brother setting drapes aflame. All he knows is there’s more attention for him and he can certainly get used to that.
1862: The worst thing that could ever possibly happen happens. Virginia gives birth to the real last child of the Podmores. A daughter to be named Vera quickly usurps Clinton’s position as baby of the family and he is not happy. His first signs of magic show as a result. Much like his older brother, he sets drapes aflame only they aren’t his, they’re the new baby’s. He goes on strike in a sense after and refuses to speak to anyone but his governess/tutor for weeks after. Sydney leaves for school that fall and Clinton begins counting down the days until he can go himself to get away from Vera.
1863: Valeria leaves for school leaving just Clinton at home with the infant. He avoids her like the plague.
1864: Hudson graduates and Clinton is happy at first thinking it will help to add some distraction from Vera. It doesn’t though as Hudson now has a job to occupy his time.
1867:] It is finallyClinton’s turn to go to school and he quickly settles into life in Slytherin. He proves to be rather popular among his yearmates and builds quite the social circle around him.
1869: Sydney graduates and becomes an intern at the hospital. Clinton opts to only add Care of Magical Creatures to his schedule.
1870: Valerie graduates and debuts while Hudson marries his childhood sweetheart.
1872: Clinton sits his OWLS and does well enough.

He decides to drop Astronomy, Herbology and History of Magic. Valerie begins courting and Hudson welcomes his first child.
1873: Clinton starts his final year of school.
1874: Valerie marries earlier in the year and Clinton finds using NEWTs as an excuse proves to do wonders for some of his grades and he manages to score higher on some NEWTs than he did OWLs. Vera starts her time at Hogwarts. Alone.

Upon graduation, Clinton decides to go to work in the Department of Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. He follows his father’s footsteps into the Beast Division.
1876: Valerie welcomes her first child. While he wasn’t the best with babies previously, he proves to be a rather doting uncle.
1878: Sydney begins courting and Clinton sees even less of his brother between their jobs and the addition of his brother’s new lady.
1879: The courtship ends before it really even gets a chance to start but Clinton still hardly sees his brother as his job becomes his main focus.
1881: Vera graduates and Clinton takes up rooms at Excalibur to further his own independence.
1883: Sylvester retires at his wife’s insistence.
1885: Virginia’s health begins to “fail” causing the rest of the family to worry some.
1886: When the Head of the Beast Division position opens up, Clinton applies and happily accepts it with his eye on the top of the department. After turning thirty over the summer, he takes up residence at Atlantis.
1887: Clinton simply lives his life day by day. Working and wooing though without any real intention of securing a wife. Until Sydney finds a lady to settle down with, the pressure on him is next to nothing.
1888: Wooing is something that gets put on the backburner as Clint begins to focus solely on his work. With the Assistant Head position opening up in his overall department, Clint strives to be promoted to the position himself.

Sample Roleplay Post: Clint wasn't typically the smoozing type, however, he was well aware that he wasn't always one of Mrs. Skeeter's favorite employees. Considering she outranked him, he always strove to see to it he remained on her good side as best he could. As such, when he'd come across a rather interested, and old, history book on the sources of lycanthropy. Surely a woman that had spent so many years within the Beast division would appreciate the book's value.


Whistling as he made his way to the woman's office with the wrapped up tome, he flashed a smile at the new secretary. The last one he'd flirted with was gone. Again. Oh well. He'd have to build up a new repertoire with the pretty lady. It would have to be another time though. He went straight to Mrs. Skeeter's door instead and knocked on it quickly and entered upon hearing her call out to enter.


"Evening Mrs. Skeeter," he said with that usual charming grin of his, "I thought I'd bring by a little gift before the holidays." He strode forward then and slid the gift onto her desk and directly in front of her.
