He’s a MacFusty that has a nasty habit of drinking too much, frequenting shady establishments, and enjoying the company of women with loose morals.Residence: The Hebrides, Scotland
Donald MacFusty | FatherAppearance: There is no doubt James looks like a typical MacFusty. Tall, dark, handsome and with a multitude of scars. And though not as tall as the twins, he is among the tallest of the MacFusty brothers and stands at six foot three inches. A little over six feet of pure muscle, he’s a man that takes care of himself physically and bares his scars with pride. There would be no mistaking the giant of a man for anyone other than a MacFusty and he bares that with pride as well. While his family may be somewhat chaotic, he boasts the name proudly and would never change that.

1854- James “Jamie” Rae MacFusty is born, the fifth son of Donald and Griselda MacFusty, near the end of April. A healthy and boisterous babe, much like their previous sons.Personality: Gruff. Silent. Stoic. Hardworking. Loyal. Dependable. Focused. Strong. Patient.
1860- Another brother is born, Gilroy. During a particularly long night of listening to Gilroy cry and not getting any sleep, James wakes up in a horrible mood. When his governess begins to chastise him to get him out of bed feeling he was in bed for too long, he shows his first signs of magic by silencing her. She walked out before dinner that evening when she fails to regain her voice. Turns out the irate boy silenced her for a good week or so.
1865- The first and only daughter of the MacFusty clan is born, Malvina. It is finally Jamie’s turn to go off to school. He is sorted into Gryffindor, without any surprise. The hat barely seems to touch his head before shouting the word and the tall MacFusty joins his four other brothers at Gryffindor, the hoots and hollers unmistakable as he joins them.
1872- James finally graduates and leaves behind Hogwarts with decent scores across the board, the main stand out being in COMC but that is to be expected. He remains in the Hebrides and begins working as a Toddling Wrangler.
1877- Hogsmeade is founded. James spends a weekend in the newly developing town to see what it is all about. It is during this time, while exploring the thick and dense forests, he finds a mother wolf caught in a trap and no longer breathing. He spies some movement and realizes a wolf pup is still alive though just barely. He doesn’t hesitate in grabbing the mottled beast and bringing it back to the castle with him and nurses her back to health. He names her Gunna, meaning warrior battle maid, for her valiant strength in pulling through.
1880- Perhaps one of the worst years for James. Malvina and Mungo join him and Tiger at the “nursery” only for disaster to strike. A particularly persistent and surly toddler takes a liking to Malvina and doesn’t leave the young woman alone. The dragon eventually knocks her over and in the process slashes her side open. Dunny steps in to prevent the beast from doing further damage only to end up with his arm in the dragon’s mouth. James apparates to Hogsmeade Hospital with Vina. Tiger stays behind to take care of Dunny only for matters to get worse. Dunny ends up losing an arm in the process and nearly his life. James blames himself for the pain and injury inflicted on his young siblings. But instead of shutting down, he throws himself into his work. He’s more than determined to never let such an accident happen again.
1884- The MacFusty clan seems to be in something of chaos. Wives dies or leave, drama is all around. The final blow is the loss of Rabbie due to one of the larger toddlers. He sees to the butchering of the beast after his father kills it during the attack. The beast’s fangs are harvested for Rabbie’s burial but it doesn’t help with the guilt that another of what he deems his charges has caused more pain to the family. Jamie avoids the castle for some time once he hands the fangs over and can only hope nothing else goes wrong for the remainder of the year.
1886- Gunna dies in her sleep, leaving Jamie wrought with despair. His true companion for years, he’s not one to be around for several weeks following.
1888- Jamie rarely leaves the Hebrides, spending a lot of his time with the toddling dragons and doing all he can to make sure things are safe around them. It often finds him in a hut he’s got in the main area they’re located with a trek back to the main MacFusty house every other week for a warm bath and better food. At times, he heads into Hogsmeade or London simply for some social interaction even if he’s the quiet one that hardly converses. A man has to stay sane somehow, after all. He’s well aware he should be taking a wife but after seeing all his brothers have gone through with wives, he’s hesitant to even consider such a thing. Besides, what woman wants a man that hardly returns home?
