Y'all, we did it. WE SURVIVED JANUARY. A new month is upon us; hopefully it won't be 84 years long. That means it's time for...

Activity Check
Another activity check come and gone! The list of inactive accounts has been compiled and deactivations and list maintenance are underway :) If you lost a character you'd like back, you may post in Maintenance starting Wednesday, 5th February. If you have no currently active characters you can post in maintenance immediately!

(If you lost a character before the AC, you can post there whenever you'd like!)

Posting Wizard
The English teacher has successfully done math: our January winners are Lynn (Fortitude Greengrass) with 173 posts and Lou (Samuel Griffith) with 105 posts. Most of these impressive totals came from one character each, which is lowkey terrifying to me.

This month, Amy and Kit have set out to conquer the staff team. If one of them wins, do they get Charming? Find out this time next month!

This month's writing challenge is simply magical, if I do say so myself! February may be a short month, but it's also shaping up to have a couple IC events worth checking out.

47. That's how many active skins Charming currently has and holy heck is that a lot. In the interests of, ideally, getting this number under thirty, we've created a survey for you! Depending on the user, it will take between thirty seconds and thirty minutes to complete, but we definitely hope you will <3

How to Vote

How you vote will be determined by how you post: do you do everything from one main account and just use the polyjuice to change post author, or do you have each account set to the skin that best matches them? That will determine how many votes you get. This is entirely self-policed; it doesn't make sense for you to vote eighteen times if you only ever tweak a skin on your main account but honestly, you do you boo.



Why four per player? Winter Kayte and Summer Kayte are two different entities!

From here, the actual list of skin options. They should be in the order presented on the drop-down menu, but I am an imperfect person, so please be kind.

If you are voting per active account, and you have (for example) three characters using the same skin, the form does not allow me to do that nicely. To that end, we have a lil text box. Say, for example, you have three characters using Harvest Sun. You would tick "harvest sun" on the list. Then, you would visit the text entry question, and add "+2 Harvest Sun". Or something to that affect. Your checklist + text entry total should be equal to or less than your eligible votes. Again, this is self-policed just be a reasonable human being xD

The Fine Print
  • The minimum number of skins to select is 1. The maximum depends on how you vote. You do not have to select your maximum number of skins.
  • House skins for eligible accounts are not included in the poll. These accounts will continue to have access to house skins regardless.
  • Actual number of skins available will depend on how voting goes. If everyone votes for the same three skins, we will obviously not throw in others just for the lulz
  • The question re: dark vs light also has some bearing on overall composition of options.
