distinguishing features: Features that distinguish her from her identical twin are that Minty has no scars (Bella has many) and she personally has possession of all her fingers (unlike Bella who is missing one). Another thing that distinguishes the two is that Minty is more fashionable and has better quality clothing in general. Minty is also a bit paler than Bella is.

demeanor: Araminta carries herself with elegance and grace. She does her best to always appear polite and proper. Araminta has become well-schooled in keeping her true thoughts and feelings from showing in her face.

History:

Childhood
1868	Araminta is born the quieter and more calm of a set of twins.
1869	During a day out in January, one of the twins is kidnapped. Despite their father being a former auror, they do not find a trace of her. They eventually assume that the infant must surely have perished.
1869-1879	Despite having no real memory of Annabelle due to their age at the time of her kidnapping, Minty grows up with a strong sense of something being missing. She grows up being sheltered and rather overprotected by her mother. Her brother also is protective of her. She is not allowed to go many places without her mother in tow. Life becomes more lonely when her brother eventually begins at Hogwarts. She has her first signs of magic at the age of eight when she turns some falling leaves into flower petals.
Hogwarts
1880-81 First Year	Minty's turn to go to Hogwarts arrives. And with it comes quite the shocking surprise: her twin alive and having been raised by working class muggles. Minty is sorted into Slytherin and her twin into Gryffindor. It is confirmed that "Matilda Draper" is indeed Annabelle Scrimgeour. In October, Aramintas grandmother dies. It is whispered that it was due to the shock of Annabelles return. Araminta does her best to connect with her twin but Annabelle is most disagreeable about a lot of things. They just cannot seem to form a sisterly connection despite Mintys best efforts. Things worsen when Annabelle comes home for the summer and seems to always having something to say back to their parents.
1882-83 Third Year	Araminta takes up Ancient Studies, Arithmancy and Divination as her electives.
1884-85 Fifth Year	To her dismay, Minty is not a prefect. But she does do pretty well on her OWL examinations. She decides to drop Arithmancy, Defence Against the Dark Arts and Herbology when it comes to her upcoming NEWT class schedule.
1886-1887 Seventh Year	Minty and Bella graduate and debut into society.
Adulting
1887	Araminta loves being a debutante but her enjoyment is tarnished by Bella's dislike of it. Not even a month in and Bella is sent off to Aunt Laverna's and becomes a healer.
1888	Rumours abound and a series Witch Weekly articles allege that Bella is having an affair with a man named Reuben Crouch. Father is livid and confronts Bella. He is then imprisoned for physical abuse and he dies in lockup but not before Bella had been disowned. It is all too much. Julius even switches jobs and Minty can't go anywhere without being asked about Bella or being mistaken for Bella which feels even worse.
1889	To her despair, Witch Weekly lists her as a Society Woman to Stay Away From. Which she feels isn't fair at all when she has personally never done anything wrong.
1890	Julius makes a return to his former job which pleases Minty. He was always too talented to resign himself to a portkey office. Also in Witch Weekly, someones letter to the editor describes her rightly as suffering undeservedly. But also mentioned she was unlikely to find a husband.
1891	Minty is pleased when Witch Weekly seems to believe she would match well with August Echelon-Arnost. It isn't so much the man she is pleased about but the fact they seem to no longer think she should be branded as unmarriageable.
1894	Despite her best efforts, she is still unwed without even a whiff of courtship. However, Julius gets engaged. Which Minty is happy about because she does love her brother but it fills her with a sense of melancholia. She will be twenty six in a matter of months and she is beginning to think she might just end up a spinster.

Personality:

Araminta is a proper and ladylike woman who has a tendency to hide her true thoughts and feelings. She learned long ago to suppress such things. She is generally kind and courteous. Minty dislikes confrontation and will do and say whatever she can to avoid it. Minty adores fashion and gossip despite gossip having been a large catalyst to her present day problems. Even so, she has always retained a subscription to Witch Weekly. Araminta is intelligent and clever but tends to try and downplay these traits as her mother has taught her they are undesirable to men.
