Niraj's father moved to Britain from the Kingdom of Nepal following the successful immigration of his brother, Edward Sandow (Ivy Sandow's father). Soon after, he met Niraj's mother, a cousin of Kiran Blott (Nick Blotts mother).

Before Hogwarts
1869 - 1879
1869: Raj is born to a pair of people. He would prove to be their only child despite their efforts.

1876: Weird things tend to happen around Raj. Odd, unexplainable things. His parents do not know what that is all about, both being muggles, so they decide to keep it a family secret.

1879: By the time, his tenth year rolls around Raj is living his best life. At least as best as it gets for a working class boy that doesn't have a horrid family life.

During Hogwarts
1880 - 1887
1880: Raj's life is shaken upside down when a man comes and explains that Raj is a wizard. A muggleborn. It is decided that he will go to this school that they were told about. Things take a further tailspin when he is taken to the Hogwarts Express and sees a very familiar face there. Ivy Sandow, his cousin, is there too. She is a witch, too! They also both end up in Gryffindor.

1881: Muggleborn students are going missing which is.. concerning. Faris Spavin is revealed to be the culprit and turns out he had the intention of wiping out Muggleborns. Raj decides it is in his best interest to not inform his parents of these events. He also tried out for the Quidditch team and got on as Seeker. That news, he does share with his parents.

1884 - 1885: Raj's Hogwarts letter most decidedly does not come with a badge. He is not surprised, honestly. He gets great grades on his OWLs. Not perfect but enough that he is able to continue attending Hogwarts. Besides that, his parents scrounge up every sickle they can to allow him to continue his education so that the world might be his oyster.

1887: Raj graduates and begins seeking work as an apprentice dragonkeeper. He is hired on by a dragon reservation in Avalon Glen.

After Hogwarts
1888 - 1893
1890: Raj is promoted to a full dragonkeeper position, his apprentice years now done and over with. He had long shown a natural aptitude for the position, as if born for this despite his smaller stature in comparison to most of the other male dragonkeepers.

1893: Raj has been doing his thing, living his life. When some criminal mastermind decides to transport ten dragons illegally. Ones with a taste for human flesh.

The type of guy that would jump on the back of a raging dragon. Chaotic. Sassy. Prone to calling you out if he thinks you are doing something stupid. Always willing to F I G H T. Adventurous. Brave. Charismatic.
