Over the years and thanks to the hard times he faced, he became very well-practiced at hiding his emotions and it is rare to see them displayed across his face. When he truly laughs in joy, it is a wonderful, contagious sight to behold. One that was oft-seen in his school days and days of being a young adult — but not so often during his later adult years.

fashion: Victory tends to dress as is proper for a man of his class albeit on the more casual side of things. He prefers darker colors as well as clothing that is easy to move in while still looking stylish. Has a fondness for hats. He also occasionally uses a stylish walking cane with the Hufflepuff crest emblazoned upon it.

overview:Jovial and cheerful as a youth, Victory sometimes shows instances of his old personality but those moments are few and far between. He is a philosopher when drunk as well as affectionate. When he is sober, he can be rather aloof. He isn't unfriendly but he does tend to initially keep a distance from other people. Has trust issues. He is a closet romantic and has a tendency to romanticize things. He is pretty secretive and doesn't often open up about himself and his personal life. He is hard working and loyal as well as generous to those that manage to win his hard-earned friendship. He is stubborn to a fault. Prone to sarcasm. A bit of an alcoholic.

He is also passionate and feels deeply that it isn't right to oppress people for things that they cannot help (within reason). As such, he is a champion of gay rights, lgbt+ rights in general, womens rights and beings rights to name a few.

An underground LGBT+ cafe/parlourWhat is it? Rip Van Winkle, while publicly a pub & inn, is in actuality the home of a hidden entrance to a decently sized cafe/public parlour mix where individuals of the LGBT+ community can congregate and socialize. It is a place where they can just be themselves with occasional drag performances, balls and other similar forms of entertainment. It is a place for those of the LGBT community to feel safe to simply exist as they are that isn't a brothel or just all about sex.

How do people find out about it? Those already within the cafes "members" can inform others that such a place exists. They just would not be able to tell the exact locations of any of the entrances due to Victory being Secret Keeper of the locations. Nor can they speak of whom they have seen there thanks to an enchantment that is triggered when one enters one of the entrances. It is also impossible for just anyone to accidentally wander into one of these entrances thanks to various enchantments put in place.

Where are the entrances? There are four different entrances, one in London's Rip Van Winkle, another in seemingly nondescript public loo in Hogsmeade, another in a seemingly innocuous cafe in London and yet another in a clothing shop in Hogsmeade. This is so that people of different walks of life can access the cafe/parlour without raising eyebrows. After all, no one would question a debutante going for some tea or a chimney sweeper going to the loo. Again, individuals besides Victory are literally unable to say where they are located.

How exactly does anyone get full access, then? Once a potential new invitee has been vetted to make sure they aren't trying to cause harm to the community and has been through a sort of probation period, they will be given a slip of enchanted paper where Victory has written one of the entrance locations best fitting the persons social status. This paper has been enchanted to have its writing only be visible to the person it is intended for. It will also dissolve once it has been in the intended persons hands for more than a few minutes. This is to ensure the continued safety of the community.
