Clarke may appear unapproachable and intimating but she has the capacity to get along with most people. Clarke is not looking for romance. She does want excitement, but where that happens to come from is so far a mystery....

Killian is the eldest Acadia and really more wrapped up with work right now than anything else in his life. His father is getting on in years and he knows that it's only a matter of time till Acadia & Sons Construction is left to the capable hands of the sons.

He probably knows a vast amount of people through his occupation as well as his time in Hogwarts since he was outgoing and a member of his house quidditch team back in the day.
