It has come to my attention lately that:
1) we have a bunch of awesome new members;
2) we have a bunch of awesome old members that have recently gone through bouts of lesser activity and who are now around more;
3) my being scarce-ish for my first trimester put me at a huge disadvantage as far as spotting new characters/knowing what's going on with existing characters;
4) as a result I have very few threads with people of either group 1 or 2 and this ought to be rectified.

SO, in order to diversify who I'm posting with (player wise and character wise) without having to start a million open threads that don't get taken (ugh), I came up with this "thread scenario list" instead. These are all basically open threads I could start, but I'd rather have someone volunteer to do them with me first. It'll also be a handy "Oh I wish we had threads but we have no ideas" list to bounce off of.

Without further ado:

is good at divination. Your character sees her reading tea leaves with a friend (or insert your favorite type of divination here) and insists on having their fortune told, only the outcome isn't exactly stellar. Adult character or older student during a Hogsmeade weekend. Bonus if we can rope one of her played friends into periodic posts as well.

Someone could accidentally be trapped in 's store when it shifts location, putting them unexpectedly in a foreign country and him in the rather awkward position of having to explain. Anyone who can be in Muggle London.

A small group of characters are served magically super-caffeinated tea at The Painted Lady and get to know each other much better when they're the only people in the British Isles who can't sleep three days later and reunite in the Poisoning ward of the hospital. I could offer or for this.

— An enchantment pulls two (or more) characters into the pages of a novel, and they have to play along as characters in the novel while they try to find a way to break the spell and get out. I could offer or

Your character climbs into the wrong carriage after a social event and is then stuck with or while the situation is brought to the attention of the driver and rectified. UC, adult character.

— My character looks uncannily like your character's sibling/coworker/lover/what have you, which leads to an awkward situation. Any of my current roster are fair game.

— I'll add to this as I think of things/as things get taken down. Feel free to make your own suggestions! I just want to suck less with how few people I actually thread with. xD
Don't lie I know you're just sick of me =P
I could offer up Aurelia for the carriage scenario (unless that'd affect her rep - she's married and I'm assuming she'd be without her husband for some reason) ^^ your pick as to who she gets stuck with >D
I could offer or to get stuck in 's store if you'd like.
Alright, I've got the following on my list to start (please bear with me, they'll be here soon xD):
  • Aurelia/Tib - he's grumpy in general so it seems like a more interesting thread; I was going to set it following the fashion show if that works for you!
  • Immie/Ophelia for tea
  • Rush/Caroline - while it would be super fun to play with Asha's bad luck some more I feel like Rush would be more likely to resort to memory charm magic if THE PRESS was involved and that's less fun. If you disagree and aren't opposed to Asha being the victim of a potentially shoddily crafted obliviation charm post their thread I can reevaluate.

And I saw that thread but it's on the wrong ship for Alfred to be there. The Ophelia and the Voyager are both on the expedition, and he's the Captain of the latter. If you want to change it over I can put it on my list, otherwise you can pimp it out to other expedition folks (anyone else can be on whatever ship they like but he's very firmly established to be on the Voyager and the Captain wouldn't be hanging out anywhere other than his ship).
I fixed it for you. Sorry for the mix up. Smile
Lynn, I am open to both options. However it may be interesting to get Caroline mixed up in the whole thing so that sounds good to me
