What: Heaney's Summer Solstice Celebration
Who: Anybody, mostly working class or people who know a Heaney.
Where: The Slums of Hogsmeade
Why: To celebrate the time when the sun rises high.
When: June 21st, 1889

There will be a bonfire, various activities for kids including some magical sparklers, and time to eat and drink and be merry.

Who: Hosted by Evelyn Abercrombie for all Roses and any 17+ UC women who, along with their mothers, daughters, and sisters...

— Are British-born or have lived in the country for at least 5 years
— Are part of ~society

Where: Bombay, India! (See Below)
Why: Recruitment, show-offed-ness.
When: June 19th - 20th

Each year, the Pendergast School for Young Roses hosts a tea, both to show off their current pupils and to recruit new ones. But teas, while a regular part of daily society, aren't particularly flashy.

So Evelyn Abercrombie has thought bigger this year.

With the aid of some Ministry connections allowing her to arrange half a dozen international portkeys, she has arranged for those attending to be transported from the school's garden to India for a full tea sampling. Of course, she will be bringing her own cook along to ensure that their British palates are not offended by the strange local cuisine, but some regional fare will certainly make it to the table!

Local ex-patriates have been enlisted to take the women in small tours about the city, and they are all invited to attend a ball hosted by the British Ambassador to the Indian Minsitry of Magic! Accommodations are, of course, provided; formal wear is, of course, not.

What: Exotic Wares Showcase
Who: Female UC w/Rep 5+ invited (excluding anyone with significant or recent scandals, known part-humans, known veela, etc), well-connected MC w/Rep 8+. Special invites to Pendergast Roses and recent debutantes who fit the above criteria since Ophelia is kind of using this as a "come under my wing young hens" moment / recruiting young women she likes for the Phoenix Society.
Where: Devine Estate, Wellingtonshire
Why: 'Tis the Season.
When: 26 June

Have you ever been to one of those "parties" where people bring a bunch of products and give you free samples and try to get you to buy them while you lounge around in their house eating snacks and drinking? It's like that except with a bunch of exotic vendors and in the Victorian Era

What: The Wedding of Warwick Nott & Avril Lukeson
Who: The Nott and Lukeson family are the gracious hosts of this fine event. Anyone of UCPB or MCPB of respectable families will receive formal invitations (while the mother of the bride sends out extras to UCAB and MCAB of respectable rep)
Where: London (see below for details)
Why: Cause this arranged marriage is still happening. It has happened. Now come chat with the bride or groom about it.
When: June 26, 1889

The wedding ceremony will take place in Miss Lukeson's church, while the reception shall be in the Lukeson home. The reception is that of the typical variety.
