Did You Know?
As clocks and other timepieces were expensive, working class folk who could not afford to rise with the sun could employ a “knocker-upper” to tap on their windowpane at a scheduled time. Knocker-uppers would work through the night and into the early morning. — Kayte
But then Miss Dempsey paid her so great a compliment that she wanted to hurl herself over the edge of the theater balcony in delight.

October 13th, 1891 - Evening — Astronomy Tower

The sun was soon to set and he had his star chart out in front of him, unknowingly upside down, as he stood at a telescope trying to look at the moon. Though his telescope was pointed downwards towards the quidditch pitch where some people were practicing. It didn't look like a house team but it was more interesting than the boring dots that would appear in the next five or so minutes as the sun would set.

With a smirk he said " Butter upon bacon. Did you realize you can see the quidditch pitch from here? " Not caring what house anyone could hear him was in as he was excited by his discovery of seeing something not boring from the astronomy tower. Even if it wouldn't last as the sun was about to set. Then he added "Can't see the quaffle though even though it is a dot and all these things see is dots."

Or at least he couldn't see the quaffle - but that wasn't saying much as with his glasses there were still a lot of things he missed seeing.
