Did You Know?
As clocks and other timepieces were expensive, working class folk who could not afford to rise with the sun could employ a “knocker-upper” to tap on their windowpane at a scheduled time. Knocker-uppers would work through the night and into the early morning. — Kayte
But then Miss Dempsey paid her so great a compliment that she wanted to hurl herself over the edge of the theater balcony in delight.

Plot Sprouts?

YO SO. I have a handful of ideas for open threads that would likely be one-offs for me, but would set off small plots for the characters that pick them up. Would this be something people would be into?

I'm into it but have questions!

Would we know what sort of plot/ the time commitment/ the consequences of said plot before joining or would it be a mystery until the thread develops?

Do you imagine these going at normal thread pace or making a rapid date to knock them out?

Basically I'm conceptually here for it but if it means blocking off weeks of character development while we putter through a thread I don't know the outcome of I would be less keen.

Lynn has some valid questions but as an overall concept it sounds fun!!

What I would do is post it up as a lonely with a couple directions and establish the foundation in my initial posts. The consequences and time commitment would both be up to you. Sort of like an open arc rather than just an open thread, if that makes sense.

Initial thread really depends on who takes it for obvious reasons. If you can only rapid Wedesday evenings you're SOL because I have class. If you're Beanie (par example) we can knock it out in an hour. Regardless, you'll have more than enough to do your own things within my first three posts. I am the inciting incident, not deeply involved; the first domino to fall.

If this is still a thing next month, I'd be game for either Zach or Archer (depending who I decide to bring back first). :)

Delightful! I have a few thrown up now (though I think Nichole already snagged one :P) and will endeavour to get another one or two up in my bid to help y'all ROCK Charming Sunday this weekend <3

And, you know, do fun things with your characters always.
