We made it to another month, friends. A few things~

Our October Activity Check will take place on Sunday, October 4th— ew, that's soon. What do you need to ensure you get through without a headache?

• Your mini-profile is filled in with height properly formatted
  
• All of your characters have been listed in the Character Directory—check back on your entries to make sure they were processed properly! Anyone reactivated this month will need to be placed back on. 
  
• Characters made before the last AC have posted at least once this month
  
• This one's mostly for staff, but that your full profile has been filled in ;)
  

If all of the above are squared away, there should be no reason for you to fall inactive in the upcoming check!  To our new members: the AC requires no work on your part. The staff team simply makes sure the above is seen to!

Similarly, Posting Wizard Signups are open, and please give us some October events. And have an October Writing Challenge too!

Another activity check come and gone! The list of inactive accounts has been compiled, with deactivations and list maintenance underway :) If you lost a character you'd like back, you may post in Maintenance starting Wednesday, 7th October. If you have no currently active characters you can post in maintenance immediately! If you lost a character before the AC, you can post there whenever you'd like!

A general housekeeping note: if your character has recently changed usergroup (see: Hogwarts first years, international quidditch players/spectators, etc) please double check their CD entries to make sure they are completely up to date and the usergroup colours match up :)

And in case you missed it, we have some upcoming movie nights of differing levels of spookiness!

Please don't forget to post in Maintenance when a thread is completed to archive it to the appropriate year — people have been forgetting recently and otherwise finished threads are ending up in Dead Threads!

Time for the Charming Pumpkin Smash! Go hunting for pumpkins around the board and you could win some prizes!

Additionally, we're having a Trick or Treat Movie Weekend next weekend! Saturday's (October 24th) Trick movie will be Mama hosted by Holly Scrimgeour and Sunday's (October 25th) Treat movie will be Hocus Pocus hosted by me. Times for both will be announced this week.
