Tristan comes from a reclusive family that strikes most people as being a little shady with whispers about their true heritage going around, especially since Tristan ‘just happened’ to leave school after the half breed ban went into effect. Publically, this is explained as an issue with getting birth papers from France but even so, it is considered suspicious. He also gets drunk in bars and is a little too “friendly” with other boys.

Appearance:

Tristan stands quite tall for his age at five feet, nine and a half inches and has an athletic build. He is right handed. Tristan has a natural pale complexion, due to his heritage, which makes his blue eyes all the more startling. He keeps his brown hair shoulder length. Tristan wears clothing that is typical of an middle class boy on the more wealthy end of the middle class spectrum. He favors darker colors, causing the paleness of his skin to stand out against his clothing.

History:

1870: Tristan is born.

1876: Tristan has his first signs of magic.

1879: Tristan and his family move from France to Wales.

1881: Tristan gets his Hogwarts letter. Later in the year, he goes to Hogwarts and is sorted into Gryffindor.

1882: The remaining Michaud’s in France join Tristans family in Wales. It isn’t long until they develop a bit of a reputation due to their “oddity”.

1883: Tristan chooses Ghoul Studies, Ancient Studies and Ancient Runes for his electives. He is also a "victim" of the Amortentia Tea Crisis and ends up kissing a boy in the year above him. Luckily, Tristan suffers no consequences aside from discovering that he is as attracted to boys as he is to girls.

1884: The plague and fire do not personally effect Tristan since he does not live in Hogsmeade. He begins his school Quidditch career as a beater this year.

1885: On New Years Eve, Tristan meets Rasmus Mohr and begins a long, forbidden romantic affair with the half-veela. He also befriends Fred Harrington and Hector Price, despite having once made out with the former. Later in the year, he and Hector become mortal enemies due to the fact that they were caught locked in a bathroom together because Hector wouldn't leave Tris alone about his heritage and a prefect misunderstood the situation.

Tris finds it very ironic given his secret affair with Rasmus. This same year, Tristan's father dies and he is placed in the care of his uncle instead of remaining with his mother due to the stipulations written in his fathers will. All in all, it is a very eventful year for the young Gryffindor who had begun a downward spiral into depression after the death of his father.

1886: Tristan switches to being a chaser, feeling the position would suit him more. Rasmus's family is outed as being part veelas. Due to his own issues, he isn’t quite able to be there for Rasmus which causes their romantic relationship to deteriorate.

1887: Tristan's mother dies in February which causes Tristan’s condition to worsen. He also begins to act out by drinking and being indifferent to the trouble he could get into, in general. Hogwarts bans halfbreeds which affects Tris due to his part vampire heritage. Only a select few know the truth of his reasons for beginning his Quidditch career early. Publicly and in the DP, he has said that the reason is due to his being orphaned and feeling the need to start his career early since it didn't require NEWTs (on top of the fact he has a business he's set to inherit). He's as salty as the ocean about it all. Not his best year. At least he gets onto Puddlemere as a reserve chaser so that's something.

Fall 1887 - Tristan is promoted to the first string. Rasmus is also shunted off to France which is the final nail in the coffin of their dying romance.
