Appearance: James is rather short in stature, being the shortest of his siblings, all of which are younger than him. He has always been very pale, which has caused some worry that he could be ill, though he is of near perfect health. He is thin and lean, quite strong because he is naturally athletic. James has dark brown hair which he inherited from his father, which is constantly in his eyes because he refuses to cut it. He also has dark brown, almost black, eyes that he thinks he got from his mother, though he isn't sure as he knows nothing about her. His wand arm is his left, and he would also write with it, if that hadn't been 'corrected' by his tutors growing up. James hates wizard robes,
History:
1876 - James is born to David Wraith, a pureblood, Upper-middle class wizard, and Rebecca Griggs, a Half-Vampire Witch who is employed as a maid in his household. Rebecca dies in childbirth and David, feeling pity for the child, takes him in and raises him with his wife, Georgina, as if he is their own child. David and Georgina had a child onlya few days before James was born, Lilian Lobelia, and pretended the two were twins.
1880 - The family begins to worry that James may be a Squib, as most of the Wraith family show signs of magic as exceptionally young ages. Father and Grandfather take him on many outings that put him in dangerous situations, trying to force the magic out of him. This does not work.
1881 - His sister, Violet Daisy, is born. James feels jealous of his sister, and quickly learns to resent the attention she gets. Begins to make trouble to get his parents to pay attention to him. Ends up showing magic by 'disappearing' while getting a rather harsh lecture from Father about being respectable young man.
1883 - His youngest sister, Magnolia Lilly, is born. He loves her, and they are completely inseperable.
1885 - His step mother, Georgina, becomes with child again. Both her and the child die in childbirth. James is incredibly sad, and clings to his father, not wanting him to die too.
1887 - Gets his Hogwarts letter and buys his first wand. Gets sorted into Ravenclaw house, despite most thinking he would be a Slytherin or Gryffindor. He wasn't exactly sure why, either, though he was happy he didn't have to live up to their reputations. Lilian is sorted into Slytherin, and stops talking to him, which he didn't mind too much.
1888 - At the start of the Christmas holidays, James visits his Uncle who works in the Magical Beasts section of the Ministry. He is fascinated by it all, and his Uncle loans him some books on Magical Creatures, finding his enthusiasm endeering. James returns to Hogwarts and throws himself into studying Magical Creatures, leaving his grades for other subjects slip.

Sample Roleplay Post: The grass was white with frost, and crunched underneath the young boys boots and he strode towards his favourite place on the Hogwarts grounds, book in hand. His favourite place happened to be a small tree, that had a fork that even he, being as short as he was, could reach easily. It was the perfect place to sit, even on cold days, as he was covered by leaves in most angles, so would usually not be caught while skipping lessons. When he reached the tree, James jumped and easily landed in his favourite spot. He opened the book and flicked to his current page. It was a book on Magical Creatures that his Uncle had loaned him over the Christmas holidays. It was quite old and was covered in green leather, which James suspected was dragon hide, though he hadn't asked. It was a fascinating book, and the thirteen-year-old couldn't believe it wasn't everyone's favourite. James eagerly read the words, as if they were going to jump off the page at any second, which wouldn't have really surprised him too much, if he was honest. He was so engrossed that he didn't hear the quiet crunch of footprints making their way towards the tree, until, that is, an all too familiar voice rang out.
"What are you doing outside, Jack?"
It was his sister, Lilian. To everyone except their family, they were twins, though they didn't look too much alike. She had light blonde hair, he had brown, she was tall, and he... wasn't that.
"Go away, Lilian," He said, cooly, "And don't call me Jack."
