Uncle - Liam Marcus. Largely uninterested Uncle who was left with custody of Jack when his parents died. Moved to America when Jack turned 17 and claimed his inheritance.
Appearance: Jack is 5' 6", with a boyish, pretty face and a penchant for tophats. He carries his wand in an ornate came and is never seen wearing anything but the most impeccably cut suits. His eyes are a sea green and he keeps his hair cut just short enough to be considered refined, although it often falls in his eyes. He speaks with a French accent and leans on everything.
History: Born and raised as Jaqueline, Jack only began dressing as a man after he had graduated from Beaubatonxs. His family was wealthy but unassuming enough that when he moved to London after graduation to train as a lawyer, no one bothered to check if the Watsons had really had a daughter or a son. As his parents had died when he was 15 from Yellow Fever, and his Uncle had jetted off to America the moment Jack was considered of age (and therefore no longer his responsibility) there is no one left to refute his claims. He has now lived in London for 6 years, having recieved a diploma from law school two years previous, and can often be found at balls and galas. He is not considered the most elegible bachelor, as he is still young, and his money is new, but he is wealthy enough to be invited to whichever party he pleases.
Personality: Light-hearted, cheery, and kind, Jack is highly unlikely to share anything about his personal life, and speaks very sparingly of his years in France. He is the perfect gentleman, always. He has never formally courted anyone.
Other: Jack is, in modern terms, genderfluid. I use he/him pronouns for ease of comprehension, but if anyone were to learn of his origins, it would be possible to use she/her pronouns as well, in the privacy of her home. Also, I'm not sure if lawyer is an acceptable profession for his class. If it isn't, let me know! I'll change it :3
Sample Roleplay Post: Jack leaned against the wall, cradling a glass of champagne in one gloved hand. He was enjoying himself immensely, and was glad he had dragged himself away from his latest case to come. As the string quartet finished it's song, he downed the last of his champagne and placed it on the tray of a nearby waiter, before sweeping towards a young lady who he'd been observing for the last few minutes. Stopping before her, he bowed and offered her his hand. "May I have this dance?"
