Appearance:

For all that she relates to her Papa, Tia definitely takes after her mother in appearance. Standing at a fairly taller-than-average four feet, eight inches tall and has an average build. Her hair is long, dark, and thick, and many mornings she often struggles to keep it tamed. Her eyes are big and brown, and she has thick lashes. She prefers feminine dresses to the gender-neutral school robes she's forced to wear. She wields her wand with her right hand.

History:

1876 | Tatianna "Tia" and Theodosia "Teddy" Brownhill are born to Walter and Eleanora Brownhill. Though sharing the same olive skin and black-brown hair, the girls are of completely different temperaments.

1877 | Tia's Mama takes up a writing gig to escape the restlessness that comes with being a stay-at-home mother. Despite spending much of her time with a nanny, she still squeals and laughs when her mother comes to hold and play with her.

1879 | Tia is given a younger sister, Clementine, but is still too young to recognize that the infant is a permanent member of her family. Nevertheless, she finds the baby's giggles entertaining. The family relocates to North Bartonburg in Hogsmeade the same year.

1881 | Tia'a Mama published her first book.

1884 | Tia shows her first sign of magic! It's not anything too colorful or showy; she only manages to open a locked door that her blanket had gotten stuck in before bed.

September, 1887 | Tia goes off to Hogwarts with Teddy, expecting the two of them to remain by each other's sides throughout the duration of school. She is both saddened and confused when Teddy is sorted into Gryffindor, but she into Hufflepuff. Having always desired to be in her Mama or Papa's houses (Gryffindor and Ravenclaw respectively), the thought of being in the house of the "weak" bothers her. She is even more stressed later when finding out that her Mama has decided to run for Minister, leaving she and Teddy to deal with comments and questions from their peers.

October, 1887 | She exchanges letters with her Papa which reveal that he was almost a Hufflepuff, but begged to be a Ravenclaw instead. She decides that if Papa was almost a Hufflepuff, the house can't really be for weak people.

December, 1887 | Her Mama loses the election to Justin Ross, who luckily doesn't seem like too bad of an alternative to her Mama. Over the break, she can see how upset this makes her Mama, leading her to feel guilty for wishing Mama hadn't run in the first place.
